Overview
Northern Groove is ë’s flagship open–air club night rooted in the north of Mauritius. Designed to shift the island’s nightlife away from the commercial club strip and into a more experimental, nomadic space. Each edition is held at a different venue, creating one–night–only atmospheres defined by eclectic DJ lineups, immersive visuals, and a deep sense of community.
The series has become a cultural anchor for electronic music lovers on the island, offering a platform for both emerging and established local and international artists. From intimate Club Groove previews to larger public takeovers, Northern Groove remains committed to cultural exchange, artistic freedom, and building a vibrant, outdoor club culture.
My Role
- Led marketing strategy and social rollouts, adapting tone to match each venue’s energy
- Managed ticketing across multiple event formats
- Coordinated logistics for ever-changing sites, from private previews (Club Groove) to larger public parties
- Helped define the brand’s visual identity and artistic direction across music, stage design, and content
- Supported artist liaison and creative programming, ensuring a diverse and inclusive lineup
